The "Fairy Godfather" is very much "Godfather" with a nod to Mr. Brando and all your favorite gangsters -- excellent job by George Berghorn. All the adults are funny - the EVIL (not Cruel!) Stepfather, Ralph/Bobby Maldonado - the Cruel Stepmother Marilyn Wulfekuhler, the charming, effusive, and slightly dim King John Liskey was effectively nagged by Queen Christine Wilkes.
I was very impressed with the diction and projection of the vast majority of the child actors. Rarely was a line lost to mumbles. This story was told, compete with dangerous dancing, and an unlikely baseball game - all through acting and fun costumes, with little to no set.
Kudos to the cast of 25 and Director Bill Gordon for providing such an opportunity for kids and their parents to work together on stage.
